If you are an apprentice working in a trade such as plumbing, electrical or joinery then Tameside Council’s Employment and Skills team can offer you a grant worth up to £1,000 which can be used to purchase tools and equipment to support you with completing your apprenticeship! Tameside Youth Employment Scheme (Tameside YES)

Tameside Council’s Employment and Skills Team offer a grant of £1500 for employers as an incentive to create an apprenticeship as an accredited scheme. The aim of the Business Grant is to support businesses to recruit individuals aged 16 to 24 into employment through an apprenticeship programme that would otherwise not be in a position to do so. This grant is only eligible if you recruit an apprentice who is a resident of Tameside.Find out how to register for the Tameside Business grant here.

Tameside Grant

The Employment and Skills Team at Tameside Council are offering to find a minimum of 6 months paid employment for Tameside residents that match the criteria.
